Education Resources Information Center (ERIC) 
An authoritative database of indexed and full-text education literature and resources sponsored by the Institute of Education Sciences (IES). How Research Becomes an ERIC Record

Institute of Education Sciences (IES)
The nation's leading source for rigorous, independent education research, evaluation, and statistics. In addition to sponsoring ERIC resources, there are four centers within IES:

Regional Educational Laboratory (REL) Program
Works in partnership with educators and policymakers to develop and use research that improves academic outcomes for students. The 10 REL's are a part of the National Center for Education Evaluation and Regional Assistance (NCEE).

Regional Educational Laboratory (REL) West
Translates research into practice with policymakers and practitioners in Arizona, California, Nevada, and Utah.

WestEd
In addition to REL West responsibilities, WestEd is a nonpartisan, nonprofit research, development, and service agency working with education and other communities throughout the United States and abroad.

What Works Clearinghouse (WWC)
Reviews existing research on different programs, products, practices, and policies in education to provide information educators need to make evidence-based decisions. The WWC is a part of National Center for Education Evaluation and Regional Assistance (NCEE).

Best Practices Clearinghouse
The Ed.gov clearinghouse contains best practices and lessons learned submitted by teachers, early childhood providers, faculty, staff, schools, districts, early childhood programs, institutions of higher education, other places providing educational instruction, Technical Assistance Centers, States, and Federal agencies.

Data Gateway
Utah’s Educational Data Gateway is a resource provided by the Utah State Board of Education ( USBE ) that allows the public and school personnel to access education-related data.

Utah Data Research Center (UDRC)
Utah's longitudinal data resource center works with partner agencies to provide data optimized for research and analytic insights.

Government Data
Utah.gov provides links to publicly available data sets across a variety of topics.

Utah Foundation
The Utah Foundation’s mission is to produce objective, thorough and well-reasoned research and analysis that promotes the effective use of public resources, a thriving economy, a well-prepared workforce and a high quality of life for Utahns. The Utah Foundation is an independent, nonpartisan, and nonprofit public-policy research organization.

Policy Analysis for California Education
PACE is an independent, non-partisan research center led by faculty directors at Stanford University, the University of Southern California, the University of California Davis, the University of California Los Angeles, and the University of California Berkeley. PACE bridges the gap between research, policy, and practice, working with scholars from California’s leading universities and with state and local decision-makers to achieve improvement in performance and more equitable outcomes at all levels of California’s education system, from early childhood to postsecondary education and training. 

Center for Connecticut Education Research Collaboration
The mission of CCERC is to address pressing issues in the state's public schools through high quality evaluation and research that leverages the expertise of researchers from different institutions possessing varied methodological expertise and content knowledge.

Center for Research on Education Outcomes
Stanford’s Center for Research on Education strives to provide education policymakers with reliable, empirical evidence about student achievement at the primary and secondary levels.

The Consortium for Policy Research
Founded in 1985, CPRE researches the relationship between educational policy and the effects it has on classroom practice, student learning, school reform, teacher workforce, and school governance primarily through collaboration with seven leading schools of education.

The Education Commission of the States
The Education commission of the States compiles information on education policies from early childhood through workforce to inform state policymakers.

Learning Policy Institute
Founded in 2015, the Learning Policy Institute (LPI) conducts and communicates independent, high-quality research to improve education policy and practice. Nonprofit and nonpartisan, LPI works with policymakers, researchers, educators, community groups, and others to strengthen the education system from preschool through college and career readiness.

RAND Corporation

RAND Education and Labor conducts research on education and labor market challenges. Research sponsors include government agencies, foundations, and private-sector organizations.
