International Technology and Engineering Education Association (ITEEA)
ITEEA is the professional organization for technology, innovation, design, and engineering
educators. ITEEA promotes technological literacy for all by supporting the teaching
of technology and engineering and promoting the professionalism of those engaged in
these pursuits. ITEEA strengthens the profession through leadership, professional
development, membership services, publications, and classroom activities.
Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE)
ACTE is the largest national education association dedicated to the advancement of
education that prepares youth and adults for careers.
Utah Association for Career and Technical Education (UACTE)
UACTE has been providing leadership and advocacy for career and technical education
programs and professionals since 1929. The organization is an affiliate of the national
organization Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE).
Utah Technology and Engineering Educators (UTEE)
UTEE is a division of UACTE and the Utah affiliate of ITEEA. This association began
in 1922 and was originally affiliated with the American Industrial Arts Association
(AIAA). Over the years, the association name has changed to reflect current curriculum,
but the objectives have remained constant. The goals of UTEE are to: 1. Promote Technology
and Engineering Education, 2. Encourage participation, communication and unity among
teachers, 3. Work closely with similar state and national organization, and 4. Provide
recognition to UTEE members.
