Summer Agriculture

Overview

The Utah Summer Agriculture Program (Summer Ag Program) offers students an extended opportunity to engage in agricultural and work-based learning beyond the classroom through supervised agricultural experience programs (SAEs). This program is a practical application of intensive, individualized, and educational experiences of the field. Teacher supervision of the student’s SAE is a major part of the summer program. Instruction on and use of the Agricultural Experience Tracker (AET) is mandatory as both students and teachers are required to keep a record of their Summer Ag Program with this software. All programs must be in compliance with the state law and rules as outlined.
