CTE Orientation: Middle School Edition
This course replaces the College and Career Awareness New Teacher Training. It serves as an introduction to the world of Career and Technical Education (CTE).  It contains basic information that every CTE teacher needs to understand.  Complete the registration steps outlined below to begin coursework. 

There are three options for the 2026-27 school year.  You may register for the current session, but you will not be able to start the course until the session's start date.

• Fall: September 1-December 31
  Registration Opens August 15, 2026
• Spring: January 1-April 30
  Registration Opens December 15, 2026
• Summer: May 1-August 31
  Registration Opens April 15, 2027

Eligible Endorsements:

• Business, Finance & Marketing Middle School (6-8)
• College and Career Awareness / Digital Literacy
• Family and Consumer Sciences Middle School (6-8)
• Health Sciences (6-8)

Important Notice: If you are not earning one of the four endorsements listed above, you must complete the High School Edition. Relicensure credit will not be awarded if you complete the incorrect orientation course.
