CTE Scholarships and Tuition Awards

CTE Scholarships and Tuition Awards provide applicants with more than a 50 percent chance of receiving approximately $1,700 in tuition awards this year and possibly even more the next. Would you spend four hours compiling a portfolio to receive $1,700? That's the reality of students applying for the over 110 CTE scholarships and tuition awards. Kohl's Cares Scholarship

Every year, Kohl's recognizes and rewards young volunteers (ages 6-18) across the country for their amazing contributions to their communities. Utah Business Week (UBW) Graduate Scholarship 

Utah Business Week prepares students to enter the business world. This week-long program helps students learn business concepts from top industry professionals while competing in a team-based simulation. Utah Business Week offers graduates the opportunity to apply for two different scholarships. For more information visit, Utah Business Week Graduates.

Virtual Business Scholarship

The Virtual Business Scholarship is available for high school business, marketing and personal finance students currently enrolled in their junior and senior years of high school throughout the United States. This scholarship is intended to help eligible applicants defray the costs of their continuing education. The scholarship applications will be judged nationally and the winner will receive $2,000. Teacher Awards

KSL Newsradio and Zions Bank Teacher Feature

The "Teacher Feature" highlights outstanding teachers throughout the state of Utah. Each teacher is honored with a plaque from Zions Bank, an overnight stay at Anniversary Inn, a gift certificate for dinner at La Caille Restaurant, and a pair of season tickets from Hale Center Theater. Outstanding Utah High School Accounting Teacher Awards

These awards have been established by the Utah CPA Foundation to annually honor high school teachers who have done an exemplary job of teaching accounting principles in the classroom and developing and/or maintaining a strong accounting program in the school. Evidence may include recruitment strategies, curriculum development, class projects, dealing with effective accounting education, etc. The recipient of the award will not be eligible to win the award in two consecutive years.

Utah Association for Career and Technical Education (UACTE)  Awards

New Career and Technical Teacher
Recognizes new professionals. Recipients must have made significant contributions toward innovations, unique and novel programs and have shown a professional commitment early in their careers. 

Teacher of the Year (TOY)
Recognize teachers who are providing outstanding career and technical education programs for youth and/or adults in their respective fields and communities. Recipients of this award must have made significant contributions toward innovative, unique, and novel programs that are serving to improve and promote career and technical education. To be eligible, an individual must be currently employed as full-time classroom/laboratory teachers. Contributions on which the nomination is based should have been made within the past ten years. Nominees must be active members of ACTE.
