Description

Purpose

The purpose of this Memorandum of Understanding between the Utah State Board of Education (USBE) and Utah Department Of Workforce Services (DWS) is for administering and completing transactions to reimburse investor payments under the Pay for Success results-based contract under the School Readiness Program.

Legal Authority

34 CFR § 99.31(a), 20 U.S. Code § 1232g(b). This data sharing is permitted under the “School Official Exception” of the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

Grant recipients must report certain information to USBE for assessment purposes

Grant recipients must also provide reports to the SR Team as directed by the SR Team
