Overview
Student leadership organizations were established with the commitment to making a
positive difference in the lives of young people. In addition to offering a wide variety
of specific career and technical training, CTE integrates student leadership elements,
which complements student participation in these courses and programs. The term ”Career
and Technical Student Organizations” (CTSOs) means an organization for individuals
enrolled in a career and technical education program that engages in leadership activities
as an integral part of the instructional program.
FBLA is the CTSO for students in the:

FCCLA is the CTSO for students in the:
FBLA—Future Business Leaders of America
FBLA provides students with opportunities for leadership, community involvement, business
partnerships, and competition with other students in events ranging from Public Speaking
to Job Interview to Parliamentary Procedures.
