Kristan Norton

Biography
With nearly three decades as a classroom teacher in Utah’s public schools, Kristan Norton is a lifetime resident of Southern Utah. Her time in a K-5 elementary classroom has given her invaluable experience with Utah’s most precious resource, our children. Along with teaching children, Kristan has also spent many years instructing and facilitating learning for Utah’s educators. She has contributed her time to numerous education-related committees including the Elementary Science Core Writing Team and the Elementary STEM Endorsement Course Development Team.
Kristan is a graduate of Dixie College and Southern Utah University where she received her Bachelor of Science and Master of Education degrees. She has also completed teaching endorsements in Language Arts, Math and English as a Second Language.
A mom and grandma, Kristan and her family love to travel and attend sporting events. In her free time, she works as an auditor for a regional airline and loves to read, cook, and learn.
