Purpose

The purpose of this contract between the Utah State Board of Education and MGT of America Consulting, LLC is to provide Community Engagement and Science of Reading Coordination Services.

Legal Authority

34 CFR § 99.31(a), 20 U.S. Code § 1232g(b). This data sharing is permitted under the “School Official Exception” of the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

Partnerships for Student Success Grant Program Title 280 53F, Chapter 5, Part 4
(i) assess the presence of existing community school infrastructure; and Enrolled Copy S.B. 127 -11 - 282 (ii) provide necessary supports for parent, community, and business engagement, 283
including services and coordination support.
