Educator Endorsements
Overview
The Utah State Board of Education offers the following Mathematics Endorsements. The courses that can be taught with highly-qualified status are listed next to teach endorsement.
Mathematics Endorsements:
- Elementary (Kindergarten - Grade 6)
- Elementary Mathematics Specialist (Kindergarten - Grade 6)
- Secondary Mathematics - Middle School Mathematics with an Elementary License (Mathematics Grades 6-8) with a Secondary License (Mathematics Grades 6 - Secondary Mathematics I)
- Secondary Mathematics - Secondary Mathematics Endorsement (All Secondary Mathematics courses. Teaching Concurrent Enrollment (CE) coursework requires this endorsement and approval by an LEA's partner Institution of Higher Education as defined by 53E-10-301.)
- Secondary Mathematics for Special Education (Mathematics Grades 7 - Secondary Mathematics III to Students with Disabilities
