Educator Endorsements

The Utah State Board of Education offers the following Mathematics Endorsements. Please see Educator Endorsements to access Educators Endorsement applications and instructions.

Mathematics Endorsements:                                                                                                    Courses that can be taught with highly-qualified status are listed next to each endorsement.

• Elementary Mathematics (Kindergarten - Grade 6)
• Elementary Mathematics Specialist (Kindergarten - Grade 6)
• Secondary Mathematics - Middle School Mathematics with an Elementary License (Mathematics Grades 6-8)
• Secondary Mathematics - Middle School Mathematics with a Secondary License (Mathematics Grades 6 - Secondary Mathematics I)
• Secondary Mathematics - Secondary Mathematics Endorsement (All Secondary Mathematics courses.)
  • Teaching Concurrent Enrollment (CE) coursework requires this endorsement and approval by an LEA's partner Institution of Higher Education as defined by 53-10-301.
• Secondary Mathematics for Special Education (Mathematics Grades 7 - Secondary Mathematics III to Students with Disabilities)
