School Leadership Preparation Programs
Overview
The term aspiring principals is used to describe educators, often teachers or teacher leaders, who are actively preparing for the role of principal.
The requirements for a professional school leadership license and the expectation of school leadership preparation programs are specified in the Utah Office of Administrative Rules R277-305. School Leadership License Areas of Concentration and Programs.
School Leadership Preparation Programs
Currently, seven Utah universities offer approved school leadership licensure preparation programs for aspiring principals.
