Purpose

The purpose of this contract between the Utah State Board of Education (USBE) and Pathful, Inc is to provide a virtual internship and work-based learning platform.

Legal Authority

34 CFR § 99.31(a), 20 U.S. Code § 1232g(b). This data sharing is permitted under the “School Official Exception” of the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

Utah Administrative Rule R277-915
This rule governs work-based learning programs and requires policies for training, transportation, supervision, insurance, and student and parent involvement.
