34 CFR § 99.31(a), 20 U.S. Code § 1232g(b). This data sharing is permitted under the “School Official Exception” of the Family
Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
Utah Code Annotated (UCA) § 53E-3-1002(1)
provide, train, and assign literacy coaches to schools with low literacy achievement
performance to provide early literacy coaching to teachers in kindergarten through
grade 3.
Utah Administration Rule R277-326
USBE shall provide the salary, benefits, and costs associated with employing the Coaches.
This shall include providing each Coach a laptop, monitor, docking station, etc. USBE
shall not be responsible to pay indirect costs, which are not allowable.
