Description

Purpose

The purpose of this contract between the Utah State Board of Education and WestEd is to provide Pilot Community Engagement School Improvement Project. The aim of this project is to support USBE, local education agencies (LEAs), and six middle schools in increasing student success, advancing school improvement efforts, and strengthening community partnerships.

34 CFR § 99.31(a), 20 U.S. Code § 1232g(b). This data sharing is permitted under the “School Official Exception” of the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
