Description

Purpose

The purpose of this interagency agreement between the Utah State Board of Education (USBE) and Department of Workforce Services is for USBE to provide student information data to the Department of Workforce Services for the purpose of allowing DWS to utilize the data to determine household eligibility for Pandemic EBT benefits.

Legal Authority

34 CFR § 99.31(a)(3), 34 CFR § 99.35, 20 U.S. Code § 1232g(b). This data sharing is permitted under the “Audit and Evaluation Exception” of the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).

• Address of household on record with the school district 
• Mailing address if different than address on record

• Child’s enrollment in Community Eligibility Provision School or Provision 2 School
