Purpose

The purpose of this contract between the Utah State Board of Education and Measurement Incorporated is to provide Utah Compose, an online formative writing tool, for Utah students in Grades 3-12.

34 CFR § 99.31(a), 20 U.S. Code § 1232g(b). This data sharing is permitted under the “School Official Exception” of the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
