Description
Purpose
The purpose of this contract between the Utah State Board of Education and ACT inc
is to provide a college readiness assessment (the ACT) to students in Grade 11.
Legal Authority
34 CFR § 99.31(a)(3), 34 CFR § 99.35, 20 U.S. Code § 1232g(b). This data sharing is permitted under the “Audit and Evaluation Exception” of the
Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
