Purpose

The purpose of this contract between the Utah State Board of Education and The National Center for the Improvement of Educational Assessment, Inc is to provide consultancy on Assessment and Accountability issues.

Legal Authority

34 CFR § 99.31(a)(3), 34 CFR § 99.35, 20 U.S. Code § 1232g(b). This data sharing is permitted under the “Audit and Evaluation Exception” of the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
