The Utah State Board of Education (USBE) School Safety Center (SSC) is providing this grant for Local Education Agencies (LEAs) to participate in the Winter Briefings: A National School Safety Symposium on February 16-17, 2023. This Symposium is hosted by the I Love U Guys Foundation. This mini-grant is part of the SSC’s effort to increase and sustain school safety best-practices throughout the state of Utah. A competitive grant opportunity for selected school administrators to receive up to $3,000 each for this event in Fiscal Year (FY) 2023.
LEAs interested in recommending school administrators to participate in the School Safety Professional Learning Mini-Grant need to successfully complete and submit an application for each school administrator.

Applications should be submitted as a digital link, in a Google Docs format, to Shaleece Oldroyd.
Note: To be considered, USBE must receive your electronic copy by the dates specified above. All e-mail submissions will be confirmed with a receipt e-mail from USBE within two business days. An LEA shall resubmit if a receipt is not received.
