Title I, Part A: School Improvement through the Center for Continuous School Improvement

In 2020, The Center for Continuous School Improvement (CCSI) began with the intention of supporting school improvement efforts across all schools in Utah. The mission of the Center for Continuous School Improvement is to create an aligned, equitable system of support for school improvement where all Utah schools engage in the continuous improvement cycle resulting in safe, healthy schools for all students where achievement gaps close, graduation rates increase, families and communities are engaged, and students are college and career ready.

Programs to help achieve this include:

  • Academic Growth - CSI
  • CCSI progams
  • Elevate and Springboard
  • Family and Community Engagement
  • Four Domains CALL
  • Graduation Growth - CSI
  • TSI and ATSI

Reward Schools

Under Utah's Elementary Secondary Education Act (ESEA) Flexibility Waiver, Utah was to identify its Title I Reward Schools. The Utah State Board of Education reviewed the State Federal Accountability Reporting System (SFAR) scores to identify those Title I schools that achieved the highest levels of student proficiency and those that achieved high levels of student growth. Title I Reward Schools are performing in the top 15% of Title I Schools in the state. Utah State Board of Education recognized 48 Title I schools for their outstanding performance.
