Brain Injury Alliance of Utah
The Brain Injury Alliance of Utah (BIAU) was created in 1984 as a 501©(3) non-profit organization. BIAU is the only non-profit organization dedicated exclusively to education and support for the issues of prevention and recovery of brain injury in the state of Utah. BIAU have coalitions with major hospitals, governmental agencies, and rehabilitation centers to provide a network of support, information, and help.
Learning Disabilities Association of Utah
The Learning Disabilities Association of Utah (LDAU) is a non-profit volunteer organization supporting people with learning disabilities and their families. LDAU is the official state chapter of the Learning Disabilities Association of America.
Mountain Plains Regional Resource Center (MPRRC)
MPRRC is an U.S Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs funded project that helps build the capacity of State Education Agencies and Lead Agencies in improving programs and services for infants, toddlers, children and youth with disabilities. The MPRRC is the technical assistance division of the Center for Persons with Disabilities at Utah State University.
Utah Assistive Technology Teams (UATT)
UATT teams have been established for the purpose of assessing student needs for assistive technology and for providing consultation to IEP (Individualized Education Plan) teams for ongoing programming.
Utah Education Network (UEN)
A network developed through a partnership with the Utah State Office of Education and Utah State Office of Higher Education. This website provides resources for teachers and students grades K-12. It also provides information about the institutions of higher learning in Utah.
Utah Personnel Development Center (UPDC)
The UPDC is a staff development project sponsored by the Utah Comprehensive System for Personnel Development (CSPD) consortium for Special Education, which responds to statewide personnel development needs as identified by the Utah Special Education Consortium for students with disabilities.
