Utah Occupational Safety and Health (UOSH)

UOSH has the legislative intent to “preserve human resources by providing for the safety and health of workers”. We approach this goal by providing consultation services to private and public sector employer, by providing outreach to employers through our compliance assistance, voluntary protection programs, and safety and Health Achievement Recognition Programs, and by enforcement of occupational safety and health standards through our compliance program activities. UOSH also collects work-related statistics on injuries and illnesses and fatalities in conjunction with the National Bureau of Labor Statistics.
