High school CTE programs (9-12) assist students in acquiring critical skills in order to jump-start their career through occupational skill training, competency testing, and internships. College Pathways and similar programs are linked directly to postsecondary institutions so students can meet preliminary requirements for postsecondary degrees while still in high school. These programs increase the number of students going to college and improve their likelihood of success.
