Utah Educator Reports
The Utah State Office of Education compiles and analyzes data on Utah Educators using the Comprehensive Administration of credentials for Teachers in Utah Schools (CACTUS) system. This system maintains the licensure status of all individuals qualified to teach in Utah public schools. All public schools utilize this system to track current teachers and their assignments as well as the teacher’s licensure status. Reports posted here reflect data extracted from this system.
Each report contains a “Data Definition” page to describe exactly what data was extracted. Users of these reports are encouraged to read this page BEFORE perusing the data to avoid misinterpretation of the data. Please note that CACTUS does contain some limited information regarding private schools but the accuracy of this data is not as scrutinized as it is for public schools.”
