Program Directors/Coordinators are vital to the success of local community’s adult education program by providing responsible day-to-day leadership and structure for the staff and volunteers who interact with the adult education student.

Directors/Coordinators provide assurance to the Utah State Office of Education that local programs and program sites:

  • Provide curriculum that has strong intensity and duration focused on meeting the needs of adult learners.
  • Provide a program that is financially sound.
  • Provide leadership in cooperation with agencies in providing wrap-around service for the adult learners including economic, employment and advanced education or training opportunities that will lead adult education students to be self sufficient.
